Angel Olsen is an American artist and singer hailing originally from St. Louis, Missouri who is a resident of Asheville North Carolina. Olsen's six studio albums are: Big Time, Half Way Home, Burn Your Fire For No Witness and My Woman. I think it's because my mother is so good with children. [on the parents who had adopted her at birth as well as adopted her age 3years old] I'm a lot most interested in their childhood because of our long-standing differences. Like every other child in my generation, I would like to know what it might have been like growing up in the 1930s and 1950s. My personal life. On April 16 2021 Olsen made public her gay identity. In 2022, Olsen admitted that her relationship with her girlfriend Adele Thibodeaux had ended and she was in a relationship with for a long time with musician Meg Duffy for a few months between 2020 and 2022. Olsen revealed on social media that she had been gay since the beginning of 2021. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Olsen began performing in the city's coffee shops during her teens. She soon began becoming more independent and tapping into a network of like-minded artists. In 2006, she relocated to Chicago where she collaborated with the Cali-based musician Emmett Kel as part of The Cairo Gang. Her prior album All Mirrors from 2019 featured the dark, almost gothic sound of synth-rock as well as the enthralling swaths of the orchestral genre of pop. On Big Time the first album where Olsen is vocally expressing sexual desire, she reverts towards a genre that is largely traditional called country. It is understandable in a certain way.
