She was born in Northridge Los Angeles California United States. Her hometown is Granada Hills Charter High School, where she completed her education. After that, she attended California State University and earned an undergraduate degree in Business Marketing. She earned the B.SC in Psychology from the same university. Following graduation, she relocated in North Hollywood where she began working as a behaviour coach for autistic children. In February of 2014, she won her first major win at her Elimination Chamber Episode where she defeated AJ Lee to become Divas Champion. She was able to take on Lee once more in the same episode, but lost her title. Ariana was then matched against Lee to defend her Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational Title, won by Lee. Summer Rae, Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes joined the contest to play a six-on-1 handicap in the final against Nikki Bella. The trio only showed up to attack Nikki Bella. The Battleground show gave her a fight with Naomi. Ariana defeated Naomi in that match. The result led to their rivalry. They took on handicap matches and tag-teams throughout the summer. Throughout the summer of 2015 Ariana fought alongside other wrestling stars Alicia Fox Paige Bella Twins and Asuka. WWE announced that Ariana had been released from contract in 2016, after the two-month inactivity. Arina has joined WWE NXT since her resignation.
